Well with UNDERWORLD: RISE OF THE LYCANS quickly approaching it’s no surprise that we’re being treated to a load of updates. Yesterday Ammon gave you all a look at the first still of Lucian and today we’ve got a new poster for the flick starring the gorgeous Rhona Mitra.
You can check out the poster above from over at Ugo. If you click through you can check out a larger shot. Now maybe it’s just me… but this poster is pretty bad. Isn’t it just a still pasted onto a generic background? Heck I could probably do a better job. And is it just me or does it seem like they’re trying a bit hard to make Mitra look a tad like Kate Beckinsale in this poster? Just a guess. So regardless of RISE OF THE LYCANS doing absolutely nothing for me thus far… I’ll toss you all the goods.
LYCANS comes from director Patrick Tatopoulos with a script by Danny McBride and Dirk Blackman. It’s an origins story centered on the centuries-old feud between the the race of aristocratic vampires known as Death Dealers, and their onetime slaves, the Lycans. Along with Mitra (below), it stars Michael Sheen, Bill Nighy, and Craig Parker. The release date lands on January 23rd which makes it right around the corner!
