Uwe Boll producing Zombie Massacre movie with directors of Eaters

A few years ago, schlockmaster Uwe Boll teamed up with Italian helmers Luca Boni and Marco Ristori to bring us an undead uprising called
EATERS. I’m honestly not aware if the film ever saw the light of day, but the trio are already teaming up to bring us another zombie bash, and in true Boll style, it’s based on a video game: ZOMBIE MASSACRE.

The game, developed by 1988 Games for the Nintendo Wii, had players racing against the clock to deliver a ticking nuclear warhead to the center of a city besieged by shambling corpses. And the new film seems to have a very similar story.

Co-director Ristori chatted with Fangoria about what we can expect from ZOMBIE MASSACRE. It follows “a commando team of mercenaries who bring an atomic bomb to blow up a nuclear plant, and have to face a horde of infected monsters in a little town in the middle of Europe. They only have one hour to escape from the town before the nuclear blast.”

The gang is working on a promo trailer right now to help promote at the American Film Market in November (ugh, is it almost that time already?). After that, we should begin hearing more about ZOMBIE MASSACRE, including casting and distribution news.
