With both his upcoming flicks ALONE IN THE DARK (which, by the way, looks kick ass!) and BLOODRAYNE being video game adaptations, along with his failed HOUSE OF THE DEAD- I’m beginning to think the guy’s been typecast as a video game Director!
Donald Sutherland is set to star about a group of badass motorscooters who possess special skills mainly used to battle human-killing creatures.
I’d like to think that HOUSE was the low point of Boll’s career, as DARK looks great, and BLOODRAYNE definitely has ‘fun’ written all over it. Why he’s stickin’ to the video game movies has yet to be seen- maybe he’s just a huge fan who wants to do the games some justice. Whatever it is, he’s already making a career out of it.
