It seems more and more these days studios are releasing clips of their films on the internet to help entice the potential viewers in seeing their film. Now we get word that VACANCY is joining the ever-growing list of films to follow this trend.
The fellows over at Yahoo got their hands on the clip. I’m not exactly sure what I think of this movie, it definitely scores points for having Kate Beckinsale in it, but it seems like there is something missing.
The film follows a couple who are traveling through some back roads when their car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. The pair is forced into spending a night in the only motel around, and the only entertainment available in their room are these seemingly low budget horror movies. But after a closer glance, the couple soon realizes that the movies were filmed in the very room they are staying in, and the violence on the tapes is real. Now they are trapped in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of loonies and no car. Sounds like they’re f*cked.
