At long last, VENGEANCE is coming to the U.S.!
The highly-acclaimed action thriller, from director Johnnie To (MAD DETECTIVE), made a mark on the many festivals it played, Cannes and TIFF among them. Now it’s ready to fire upon the states next month, and we’ve got the new trailer to help you get revved up. (It comes with The Arrow’s seal of approval as well!)
So what’s this asskicker about? In this latest action-packed bout from the director of EXILED and MAD DETECTIVE, a French chef swears revenge after a violent attack on his daughter’s family in Hong Kong, during which her husband and her two children are murdered. To help him find the killers, he hires three local hit-men working for the mafia.
The film opens AUGUST 4th On Demand via IFC Midnight, provided by Comcast, Cox, Cablevision, Time Warner, and Bright House cable.
VENGEANCE will also have a limited theatrical release through October at select theaters in D.C., San Francisco, Boston, Detroit, Chicago, and Seattle.
