Check out the sweet new TV spot for the upcoming slasher flick hitting theaters September 16th… no, not CRY WOLF, but VENOM! Yay…er…what…? Where the hell did this come from?
We saw the
poster pop up on eBay of all places a few weeks back, and now… it hits theaters in 10 days! That’s 2, count them 2 slashers hitting the same weekend! So what does VENOM have going for it?
Well, it’s from the director of
I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER (which, from the trailer, is pretty damn obvious) Jim Gillespie, it’s rated R (for strong horror violence/gore, and language), and Method Man’s in it! What’s not to dig here?
But it’s a little odd that there’s only been ONE official picture released for the film, and it’s released in 10 days. Or that there’s only this
TV TRAILER, and not a real trailer to promote this flick! Weird stuff. Could be shit, could be sweet, but at least it ain’t direct-to-video, right? Plus, Method Man! Method Man’s in it!
