The folks over at Row Three scored the first image of Viggo Mortensen in the upcoming adaptation of Cormic McCarthy’s THE ROAD for Dimension Films today, and boy is the guy scruffy!
Considering the hell this father and son duo go through, Viggo’s look fits the story, and while I haven’t read THE ROAD before… color me stoked to check this sucker out!
In short, THE ROAD goes like this: A father transports his son to safety following a nuclear explosion and battles starving stragglers and marauding packs of cannibals in his way.
Viggo’s son is played by Kodi Smit-McPhee, and if the two don’t look like survivors of a post-apocalyptic world, I don’t know who does!
