[The story] revolves around a ragtag group of soldiers who search for a lost patrol in Afghanistan. The soldiers, some from an American military unit, some from an Indian military unit, stumble into a nest of vampire zombies.
That’s right folks, the war on terror has hit a whole new evil: the war on vampire zombies! Wow, I don’t know about you, but the potential for this to kick all sorts of ass is there and then some. Sign me up!
To be directed by the same dude who directed the shifest known as THE OMEN REMAKE, John Moore, with adapting credits to go to John Cox, VIRULENTS is gearing to be one great ride. But THE OMEN sucked, you say! Agreed, but Moore was also behind the war/military films BEHIND ENEMY LINES and FLIGHT OF THE PHOENIX, so his potential to shine in a vehicle like this (a war movie… with zombies) is there.
