Vision Films has picked up worldwide sales rights on Stéphanie Joalland’s sci-fi thriller THE QUIET HOUR, Variety is reporting.

The pic, which stars Dakota Blue Richards (THE GOLDEN COMPASS) and "Game of Thrones" actor Karl Davis, takes place in a post-apocalyptic England, where a determined teenage girl must protect her younger brother and defend her parents’ farm in a world occupied by alien invaders. The flick is produced by Sean McConville of U.K.-based Frenzy Films.

In a remote part of rural, post-apocalyptic England, now occupied by unseen alien invaders, a feisty teenage girl sets out on a desperate attempt to fight back a group of bandits and defend her parents' farm, their remaining livestock, and the solar panels that are the key to keeping them safe from extraterrestrials. If she doesn't succeed, she will lose her only source of food and shelter; if she resists, she and her helpless blind sibling will be killed.

THE QUIET HOUR also stars Jack McMullen and Brigitte Millar (HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX).
