If your like me, your asking yourself what the hell HYBRID is, right? No, it’s not the slasher Eric told you about earlier this year. So what is it then?
HYBRID is a horror flick coming from Stallion Media. It’s about a female mechanic in a Chicago police garage who spends a night of terror with a hybrid car.
My first impression is CHRISTINE meets P2. Who knows though.
HYBRID is being produced by Minds Eye Entertainment’s Kevin DeWalt, Convergence Entertainement’s Tim Kwok, and Stallion’s Oliver Hengst and Elizabeth Wang-Lee. Alex Leung of Studio 407, Tim McGrath of Picture Park, and Christian Arnold-Beutel of Tadora will all be executive producing. It’s set at a 10 million dollar budget.
Eric Valette (ONE MISSED CALL) will be directing HYBRID with a script from Neal Marshall Stevens (THIRTEEN GHOSTS). Oded Fehr and Shannon Beckner (pictured) will be starring. Shooting is set to start this week around Regina, Saskatchewan.
