I was going to write about all the cool things you can buy for five bucks but I thought up Chicken McNuggets and then immediately lost the desire to write and gained the desire to eat. So instead I’m just gonna report the story and eat my nuggets. Christopher Walken and Alessandro Nivola have signed on to star in FIVE DOLLARS A DAY for director Nigel Cole (A LOT LIKE LOVE). The movie is about a conman (Walken) who is proud of living like a king on $5 a day, that is suddenly reunited with his son (Nivola) who had previously been in jail for one of his father’s crimes. I love flicks about conmen, so I’m totally there, even though this sounds a little like MATCHSTICK MEN but without the Nic Cage magic. Plus, Walken’s in it and he’s dynamite. Two mice!
