But alas the show must go on right? And the cast and crew of the series aren’t taking any step backs, regardless of all this mess. Hell it was just yesterday that we heard from director Ernest Dickerson and now we’ve got star Sarah Wayne Callies talking about the upcoming second season!
The folks over at TV Guide recently caught up with Callies (pictured) and asked her what the deal with her character ‘Lori’ and ‘Shane’ was. Apparently we’re going to get a much better idea of that relationship this Fall. Check out what Callies had to say:
“It was fun to step out of the zombie world and show Lori with a BlackBerry. The scene underscores how deeply Lori and Shane love [her son] Carl, plus I hope it will finally put to bed the ridiculous rumors that an affair was going on before [Lori’s husband and Shane’s friend] Rick ‘died.'”
So there you have it folks! If you were wondering if we’d be learning more about this whole ‘Lori-Shane-Rick’ love triangle then your questions have been answered.
In other “Walking Dead” news it seems creator Robert Kirkman is considering penning a Dead graphic novel, “Volume Zero,” that would show just how the two went from grieving friends to lovers. Personally I could care less about Lori and Shane considering they’re both very unlikeable characters… but that’s just me.
“The Walking Dead” returns to AMC on October 16th!
