Wanna see some rejected art for The Shining poster with notes from Kubrick?

Now THIS is very cool.

If you are a fan of Stanley Kubrick's 1980 classic THE SHINING (and why wouldn't you be?), then you will find these images very interesting indeed. Artist Saul Bass was tasked with creating the artwork for the poster to THE SHINING and below you will find a handful of his rejected images and ideas, each with handwritten notes from Kubrick himself. Reportedly, Kubrick made Bass submit 300+ versions before picking the classic we all know, but each of these are still pretty awesome in their own right.

And below you will see a letter from Bass to Kubrick, which is also a pretty interesting find.
