GRABBERS, from writer Kevin Lehane, concerns an island off the coast of Ireland that is invaded by blood-sucking aliens; the heroes discover that getting drunk is the only way to survive.
The script was apparently quite popular for some time, and has been compared to TREMORS and SHAUN OF THE DEAD. At last check, Forward Films is producing and Jon Wright (TORMENTED) is attached to direct.
