AITH West Coast correspondent (freelancer)
Hey all, the AITH gang is looking for a new outlaw i.e. a hungry, go-getter freelancer that lives in the Los Angeles area. Get all of the details below and find out if that can be YOU!
What is the position exactly?
You’d basically be “on call” for whatever cool horror events that are going down in the Los Angeles area. Stuff that we’d like covered on the site. We’d email you beforehand with all of the details, and you would preferably be available for most of the stuff which
includes:
– Junk
ets, i.e. interviewing celebrities on camera
– Interviewing celebs via telephone or Skype
– Movie events, i.e. all launch parties, DVD launches, Q&As, etc…
– Edit Bay coverage, i.e. you’d visit the edit bay of an upcoming movie
– Set visits, i.e. you’d visit a movie set and report it and the interviews to us
– Premieres/red carpets (we don’t cover many of these, but sometimes we do)
– Movie reviews, seeing films in advance and writing reviews on the site
What is required of this post?
Below is a list of requirements for this position. We pay on a quarterly basis (every 3 months), but each of the items above has a fixed rate to them, which we will share with you, once you apply. You don’t need to have every single thing on the list below, but the more you have…the better your chances.
– You MUST live in Los Angeles or there-abouts
– You MUST have a flexible schedule
– You MUST have solid writing skills, and experience with interviews
– You MUST be a big horror movie fan who knows their shit
– You MUST be good socially, PR wise & able to act like a professional
– You MUST be over the age of 21 years old

– Photoshop and HTML skills
– Video camera and video editing skills
– Likes to mingle and have own film industry contacts.
