Warner Bros. dates upcoming films including Ben Affleck’s Live by Night

If you were wondering when to expect Ben Affleck's directorial follow-up to ARGO, we now have a date: October 20, 2017. The film, adapted from the Dennis Lehane novel of the same name, follows Joe Coughlin (Ben Affleck), the youngest son of a prominent Boston police captain who defies his proper upbringing by climbing the ladder of organized crime and encountering a number of dangerous individuals who are all fighting for their piece of the American dream. Affleck has been editing the flick before he dives head-first into filming for JUSTICE LEAGUE.

Warner Bros. also announced release dates for ANNABELLE 2 (5/19/17) and FIGHT NIGHT(2/17/17), the latter of which would be the Charlie Day vehicle where he plays a school teacher challenged to an after-school fight by another teacher (ICE CUBE). It's worth mentioning that WB also set an Aug. 11th release date for, as of now, an untitled event picture. While it's weird to think we'll be getting LIVE BY NIGHT just one month before THE JUSTICE LEAGUE PART ONE, at least that'll guarantee Affleck fans one hell of a fall movie season!

I can't wait to see Affleck bring more of Lehane's work to the big screen!
