Warner Bros. reportedly eyeing Phil Lord & Chris Miller to direct The Flash

Two of the hottest directors working today are reportedly being sought to direct THE FLASH. Latino-Review and a reporter for The Wrap both claim they've heard that Warner Bros. wants Phil Lord and Chris Miller behind the camera for the comic book movie starring Ezra Miller (THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER), who was officially cast as the character back in October of last year.

It's not clear if Lord and Miller are even interested in the gig, but I'm definitely not surprised Warner Bros. might be eyeing them to direct THE FLASH. Things worked out pretty well for WB the last time the duo helmed a film (THE LEGO MOVIE) for the studio.

Even though Phil Lord and Chris Miller passed on GHOSTBUSTERS 3, apparently Sony still wants them for a Ghostbusters flick, which some believe is a possibility since there are now multiple films in the works, and they directed the studio's Jump Street movies. With both Sony and Warner Bros. allegedly trying to land Lord and Miller for one of their big screen projects, who do you think will come out on top? Sony and GHOSTBUSTERS or Warner Bros. and THE FLASH?

THE FLASH is scheduled to open on March 23, 2018.
