Warner Bros. taps Brit scribe Joe Ahearne to pen untitled supernatural thriller

Though untitled at this time, Warner Bros. is fast developing a new supernatural thriller. Word is “Apparitions” (seen above) and “Doctor Who” scribe Joe Ahearne has been hired to pen the script, which will ultimately be produced by Warner affiliate Dan Lin.

Even more irksome than an untitled flick is the fact the logline is been shrouded as well. So all we can really go on here is the previous work of Ahearne, a lad who’s been writing for British TV since 1995.

Among his credits, Ahearne has written for “This Life”, “Ultraviolet, “Dark Realm” and “Strange.” He also wrote the TV genre films “Strange,” on which the TV show was based and “Trance,” which is being remade into a big budget movie with James McAvoy.

Meanwhile, Lin is overseeing projects like GANGSTER SQUAD, GODZILLA and SHERLOCK HOLMES 2, so we should be in pretty good shape with this untitled supernatural thriller.

Stick around for more as we hear it…
