Warrior director Gavin O’Connor to helm remake of Tell No One

It was more than two years ago when we shared that Oscar-winning director Ben Affleck was attached to Warner Bros. and Universal Pictures' co-produced remake of Harlan Coben's thriller TELL NO ONE. Though the novel comes from an American novelist, the book actually first received the feature film treatment back in 2006 when French director Guillaume Canet took a crack at adapting the book, to much critical acclaim. However, it won't be Affleck in the director's chair anymore as Variety reports WARRIOR director Gavin O'Connor is now in talks to helm the adaptation.

Things become even more interesting when he receives an email that includes a photo of his wife who appears to be alive and older.

ARGO screenwriter Chris Terrio penned the script, and Frank Marshall is producing.

I've read a lot of great things about Canet's version of TELL NO ONE so I'm interested in seeing what O'Connor and Terrio's take on it will be like.
