Warrior’s Andrew Koji to join Brad Pitt in David Leitch’s Bullet Train

According to Deadline, Andrew Koji has joined the cast of BULLET TRAIN, the high-speed action-thriller from David Leitch, the mind behind JOHN WICK, DEADPOOL 2, ATOMIC BLONDE, and HOBBS & SHAW. Based on the popular manga Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka, BULLET TRAIN will follow "five assassins who find themselves on a fast-moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between. Strangely, they discover their missions are not unrelated to each other." Koji will star in BULLET TRAIN alongside Brad Pitt and Joey King.

There aren't many details about BULLET TRAIN just yet, but Andrew Koji is expected to play one of the assassins in the film along with Brad Pitt and Joey King. In addition to directing BULLET TRAIN, David Leitch is slated to supervise the script which is being penned by Zak Olkewicz (FEAR STREET). It was previously reported that as the film is a contained thriller, it would be easier to adhere to the new COVID-19 health restrictions and production should be able to get underway in Los Angeles this fall.

Andrew Koji is currently starring in Warrior, an action-packed Cinemax series in which Koji plays Ah Sahm, a martial arts prodigy who emigrates from China to San Francisco under mysterious circumstances and becomes a hatchet man for one of Chinatown’s most powerful crime families.  The actor is also set to play Storm Shadow in SNAKE EYES alongside Henry Golding. The G.I. Joe spin-off is slated for an October 22, 2021 release.
