Hollywood Reporter reports that “could’ve been a great action star but
wanted to act instead” Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is presently doing
playing the “you show me yours, I show you mine” game with Walt Disney
Pictures to star in WITCH MOUNTAIN (to be
directed by Andy Fickman ), a modern remake of the 1975 flick “Escape to Witch
Mountain” (never heard of it).
The story is about two brothers jacked with paranormal powers who are on the
lam from a group of baddies who want them on their side to do (kick in Donald
Pleasance voice) evillllll. The Rock would play a Las Vegas cab driver that
picks up the duo and gets reeled into their zany misadventures. Sounds kooky
enough to please! I so hope The People’s Elbow makes a cameo (one
of The Rock’s old wrestling moves)! COME ON! Witch Mountain” was written by Matt
Lopez and is slated to roll before the cameras in March 2008.
When I think of Vegas – this comes to
mind – is that wrong?
