Did you dig PARANORMAL ACTIVITY? Well then you’re going to love IN MEMORIUM!
This little indie feature was made way back in 2005 but just couldn’t find an audience. Now with the success of PARANORMAL ACTIVITY and the micro-budget genre flicks the filmmakers behind IM MEMORIUM are hoping to bring this one out of hiding and maybe get some hits on this little diddy. So what are they doing for their big coming out party? Showing the first 16 minutes of the movie for free, that’s what! Writer/director Amanda Gusack and producers Lydia Cedrone and Meredith Freeman are planning on slapping up the first 16 minutes of IN MEMORIUM over at the film’s official website on Halloween. That’s this Sunday folks!
Plans are for IN MEMORIUM to premiere as a paid 30-day-rental stream on IndieFlex. Details on the release haven’t been revealed yet but apparently they’ll also be dropped at the flick’s official site come Halloween. Well that’s nifty…. If you guys happen to be smitten by IN MEMORIUM then it seems you have a good time waiting for you this Sunday!
IN MEMORIUM centers on a struggling filmmaker who rents a house with his girlfriend to document his final days after a diagnosis of terminal cancer. To capture their lives without invasion, he installs motion-triggered security cameras in every room. But an invasion of a different sort is captured on the footage—an inexplicable presence in the house. Immediately after the discovery, things get terrifying.
IN MEMORIUM sports a small, unknown cast that includes Erik McDowell, Johanna Watts (below), Levi Powell, and Mary Portser. I’ve gone ahead and tossed up the trailer for the film over in our videos section as well as below. Go ahead and scope that shite out to decide if IN MEMORIUM is worth keeping an eye on then hit us with your thoughts below.
