WATCHMEN isn’t set to hit theaters until March 2009, and with the amazing trailer released last week, WATCHMEN has sky rocketed to the top of most people’s most anticipated list, and for good reason.
WATCHMEN is based on the fantastic graphic novel that many had deemed ‘un-adapatable.’ It comes from Zack Snyder with a screenplay from David Hayter and Alex Tse. It stars Malin Akerman (below), Carla Gugino, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Billy Crudup, Jackie Earle Haley, Patrick Wilson, Matthew Goode, and Stephen McHattie.
So far people are a buzz over how awesome WATCHMEN is looking and it looks like Zack Snyder is doing this one just right. Only time will tell though. There’s also a mess of new character posters from this past weekend’s Comic Con. They’re pretty sweet looking posters and follow along the ‘graphic novel’ feel. Most are coming from Omelete with IGN getting some looks as well. So just click through to check those out.
I’m sure we’ll be having a lot more updates for WATCHMEN in the coming months. Think it’ll match the amount of updates THE DARK KNIGHT had? I highly doubt it.
