WB enters Hades

We journalist (if that’s what you want to call us) are an odd bunch. Not only do I consider myself a weirdo, but most of the others in my profession are straight up bizarre. So when I came across ENTERING HADES, a flick recently picked up by Warner Bros., I wasn’t surprised or shocked… but maybe I should be!

Taking the lead off one of the possible scenarios from URBAN LEGEND, ENTERING HADES is the true story of Jack Unterweger, a journalist who led a double life strangling prostitutes in Vienna and Los Angeles, and covering his own crimes in the early 1990s. Unterweger hanged himself after receiving a life sentence.

Journalists. See, I told you… though, in all fairness to me and my colleagues, this one was obviously crazy as a f*cking loon and doesn’t really fall into the category of ‘weird’ or bizarre,’ but more like ‘psycho.’

Based on the book (ENTERING HADES: THE DOUBLE LIFE OF A SERIAL KILLER) by John Leake, HADES already has Robert Schwentke (FLIGHTPLAN) attached to direct. While I didn’t give a flying f*ck about FLIGHTPLAN, the guy seems like he could deliver on a movie like this, so let’s keep our fingers crossed he does a decent job!
