We interview the directors of Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse at Comic Con

One of the coolest-looking animated films on the horizon is, without question, SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE, which pulls a number of storylines from the comics, most notably that of the Ultimate Universe version of Miles Morales. Serving as the first introduction of the character onscreen, the film depicts a number of Spider-Men and Spider-Women (and Spider-Hams?) and serves as its own version of the Spider-Man franchise, outside of the MCU version. While at Comic Con, we had the opportunity to talk to the directors of the film, Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey and Rodney Rothman, who share their journey in getting the film made, as well as discuss the pressure of introducing Miles Morales, the villains of the film, the animation style and much more. An insightful chat with some hard-working creative guys, who look to have a groundbreaking film on their hands, particularly with the animation style they've applied to it.

SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE swings into theaters on December 14th, 2018.
