Save for one article last month, it’s been quite a long time since we had anything for you relating to the survival horror videogame DEAD SPACE 2. When we spoke of it last, we alerted you to a cool little interactive endeavor that let you create your own dismemberment, one that could of actually ended up in the final product. Well, now that the game is less than a year from release, a website for the game has recently re-launched and a new teaser trailer dubbed “Dementia” has just been issued. Let’s scope these suckers out!
Before we jump into the real goods, let’s get (re)acquainted with this bad boy:
Developed by Visceral Games and published by Electronic Arts (EA), Dead Space 2 takes place three years after the first game on a densely populated space station, dubbed the “Sprawl”. The mental illness caused by the marker is permanent and continues to have an effect on Isaac. The Church of Unitology and the government will continue to have a large place in the storyline. The game will begin in a hospital on board the Sprawl. Players will witness the horror of the Necromorph infection as it begins in the station.[3]
The player controls Isaac Clarke, who has escaped the USG Ishimura.
Sounds pretty sweet, right? Of course, I’m no gamer, so this shite might as well be Mandarin. But if I did rock a joystick, this is the type of game I’d be partying with!
Available for PS3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows on March 31, 2011 – feel free to PRE-ORDER A COPY OF THE GAME RIGHT HERE.
In the meantime, lock a look at the teaser below and be sure to navigate the Official Site for the game.
If D.J. Caruso is still attached to direct a live action DEAD SPACE film, he better bring in his EAGLE EYE hottie Michelle Monaghan!
