It seems like every weekend in March saw some genre love in theaters… until this one. Originally SKINWALKERS was supposed to come out on Friday, but has since been pushed back until mid-July. So what’s that mean for us? The DVD store, that’s what! We got the coolest cover of the year in TURISTAS, the entire 7 film series of AFTER DARK HORRORFEST, yet another sequel for that sexy bastard PUMPKINHEAD in ASHES TO ASHES, and the release of the original, director’s cut of THE DUST DEVIL (which I’ve never seen, but have heard only good things about). While I’m bummed there will be no theater love this week, I am stoked- cause next week’s slaughter will feature the genre effort to end all genre effots known as GRINDHOUSE.

In their captor’s eyes; foreigners have come into Brazil raping their precious lands of its rubber, sugar, gold, even using its people as throwaway sexual playthings. For this exploiting of their country, our backpackers are now set to go under the surgeon’s scalpel, courtesy of Zamora, Brazil’s answer to doctor giggles.
