What’s worse than being stuck going on vacation with your parents… in an African jungle… then getting lost… and stranded in the middle of nowhere (we’re in Africa, remember)? How about after all that, you become stalked by lions and picked off one by one? Yeah, you’re right… besides being skinned alive and forced to eat yourself, I’d say there’s not much worse than that.


The Weinstein Co. must have thought it was a pretty cool idea too, as they just picked up the North American rights to PREY, starring Bridget Moynahan and Peter ‘just call me ROBOCOP‘ Weller. The story ‘follows an American family on vacation in Africa, who become lost in a game reserve and stalked by lions’. Yeah, talk about a bad vacation.


The coolest part is that Weller’s on board, as we don’t seem to see a whole lot of him these days. Glad to have ya back, man! Picked up from Distant Horizon, there’s still no word on when the Weinstein’s plan on releasing this bad boy, but we’ll keep you updated as we hear it!
