Wes Craven’s Scream trilogy coming to Blu-ray at the end of the month

Lionsgate have officially announced that they will release all three films in Wes Craven’s SCREAM trilogy on Blu-ray on March 29. Although subject to change, the discs are identical to the special edition DVD counterparts in terms of cover art and special features, but each flick will boast a new high-definition transfer. Here are the special features:

– Behind the Scenes: “On the Scream Set” and “Drew Barrymore”

SCREAM 2

– Deleted scenes with optional commentary by Craven, Maddalena and Lussier

SCREAM 3

Fans have been begging for the original film to be released in its uncut format for 15 years, but it seems that it may never see the light of day. In any event, watching these babies in 1080p will be the perfect precursor to seeing SCREAM 4 in theater on April 15.
