It’s no secret we’re big fans of the slasher genre here at AITH. Without a doubt it’s my favorite sub-genre of horror and I’m sure a couple guys around here would say the same thing. So when news on an intriguing new slasher flick comes across our inbox you can bet your ass we’re going to tell you about it!
The project in question is called MASKERADE and is coming at us from director Griff Furst. Now one of the selling points of this one happens to be it’s cast, which includes a couple names you may recognize: A.J. Allegra, Michael Berryman, Mariah Bonner, Jonathan Breck, Ross Britz, Anabella Casanova, Stephen Colletti, Nikki Deloach (below), Terry Kiser, Jason London and Treat Williams. Alright… not really a selling point but hey, it’s better than nothing!
A lucky couple hits the jackpot when they purchase a 19th century plantation home for pennies on the dollar. Determined to get rich quick, they invite their friends up for the weekend to celebrate their good fortune. It’s quickly apparent that the plantation home’s former residents have not left and the unlucky youths suddenly find themselves running for their lives!
I know what you’re saying to yourself: ‘Boy I wish this thing had a trailer!’ Well guess what… it does! Directly below I’ve tossed up the trailer for MASKERADE for your viewing pleasure.
