What did you think of…Avengers: Infinity War? (SPOILERS)

SPOILER WARNING! While we have attempted to stop trolls from spoiling the film in other articles, we realize that this is a movie with very high stakes and ramifications and that folks will want to discuss those things. So, for the sake of remaining free of spoilers, DO NOT READ THE COMMENTS if you haven't seen the movie yet. If you have and want to discuss some of the details of the film, that's fine, but BE RESPECTFUL about it. If you're going to just post the spoiler itself with no commentary then you're trolling and we will ban your IP and e-mail address and perform voodoo magic on your soul.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is heading to the conclusion of ten years worth of storytelling that's amounted to 18 films and a golden age of comic book movies in Hollywood. In the past few weeks we revisited those films in our MCU Retro Reviews and also put them in our own internal ranking from best to worst. It was a fun trip back and showcased a truly epic and original venture that Marvel Studios pulled off brilliantly, leading to a film that reunites characters and integrates stories from all the previous films, essentially bringing long-form comic-book storytelling to the big screen.

After blowing our expectations out of the water with CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER and CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, The Russo Bros. take the helm from Joss Whedon on AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, bringing the greatest threat to Earth's Mightiest Heroes to the big screen after a long tease that began in 2012's THE AVENGERS. Now, Thanos, The Mad Titan, has begun his journey in collecting the Infinity Stones in a bid to wipe out half the galaxy and seemingly "bring order" to it at the same time. The movie has touted massive stakes, epic confrontations, amazing team-ups and a two-part finale that will change the MCU forever. So far the movie has gotten great reviews, with some feeling it's a very dark, yet effective, effort. Our own Chris Bumbray thoroughly enjoyed it, giving it an 8/10 REVIEW, saying, "As it is, I’m stunned this runs a relatively lean 149 minutes, making this kind of a textbook team-up movie for anyone looking to accomplish something similar."

And with that, now it's your turn! We want to hear what YOU thought of the film! Naturally, we'd prefer you to comment only if you've seen the film as that's the point here, but do what feels good. Just don't get mad if you get trounced for trolling or posting blatant spoilers in headlines. Healthy debate, genuine thoughts, and respectful interactions is all we ask. So, is this worth ten years of storytelling or is it not quite enough to justify it all?
