Today, we have ourselves the latest in Whedon’s unorthodox hype-ment of CABIN. Have a look at what he recently said to IF Magazine: “Ultimately it’s my and Drew’s take on the classic horror movie. Which means it’s a classic horror movie, but also means we have something specific to say about it and a different way of saying it than we’ve seen before. I think afterwards people will love it so much there will be no more need for movies. They will want to watch this movie over and over again.”
Oh, that wily Mr. Whedon! I just love it. It’s already a given that many of his fans are already sold on the flick, so it’s nice to see him having fun with it. Not much else is known regarding CABIN other than it will star Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford. And that’s just fine with me. The less I know about a genre flick, the more room there is for surprises, obviously. And I’m down with being surprised.
