We got the heads up this morning about the eagerly awaited sequel to 2005’s WHITE NOISE, cleverly titled WHITE NOISE 2: THE LIGHT. Not only is the new synopsis out, but the hot and hootin’ new poster (international anyway) is up and rockin’ as well!
Head on over to Yahoo!Movies UK/Ireland, and you can spy the brand new poster for the flick, which stars Nathan Fillion, Katee Sackhoff and Craig Fairbrass. Oh, and did I mention the synopsis? I did! Check it!
After the murder of his family, a suicidal man is brought back from the brink of death only to discover he can now “see” those among us who are about to die. He tries to save people from their fate but soon discovers there is a price to pay for meddling with the natural order of life and death.
While it’s no surprise that it’s rated PG-13, the reasons for it sound pretty cool, as the flick contains intense sequences of violence and terror, some disturbing images, thematic material and language. Is Nice!
The poster here isn’t bad, and actually, it’s a step-up from what I was expecting from this unnecessary sequel. The original was blue, this one’s red… I can dig it. Though the more I hear about this, the more it seems apparent that it could have been it’s own movie, and didn’t really need to be labeled with sequel status to try and sell a few more seats. Damn you, Mr. Marketing!
While you’re there you can check out a few images from the film as well (like that money shot of Fillion above), and even a brand new clip! Be sure to check out all the fun by clicking HERE, and mark January 5th, as that’s when THE LIGHT hits theaters everywhere. Yay.
