Perhaps, Mr. Williamson now feels the same way as well from a statement he just gave to the NY Post. Check it out and tell me what you think: “I’ve had numerous conversations with Neve. She’s a friend. Nicest girl on the planet. It just ain’t workin’ out and it sucks for me. It was no cameo. I’d never play Sid out that way. 🙂 And I ain’t got no Sid-less scenario. Well, I can at least give the man props for trying to clear things up. What really sucks now, is that Neve now apparently is NOT interested in returning to her only successful strings of films. I hope she reconsiders because I can’t see this next stretch of SCREAM going anywhere without her. Perhaps Mr. Williamson’s previous tweets were a tactic to stir-up some sort of fan outcry to help convince Neve. If that’s the case, then I hope it works.
