WINNERS: Autographed Frozen posters and groovy horror DVD packs!

WINNERS: It was tough to pick just 3 winners (we wish everybody could have won) but after much debating here’s who we chose. Thanks to all for entering!

Justin M: If I were stuck in the air on a chairlift in the dead of winter, I would…(if alone) attempt to climb up the cable and work my way to the closest pole, and then attempt to climb down from it. (if with friends) attempt to eat my friends in order to survive the rest of the week until the ski park got the shindig back up and running for the weekend. (if I ate all my friends and the ski park didn’t get the park up and running again) revert back to the If Alone Plan.

Adam K: If I was stuck on a lift in the dead of winter I would chug every drink I had. Then I would hold my bladder for awhile.  Finally  I would piss a long stream downward and create an icy piss poll for me to slide down to safety.

Jonathan D: I can’t imagine how I would’ve answered this question a year ago, but as an avid survivalist I immediately set my mind to devising an exit strategy after watching the trailer. So now I know exactly what I’d do. First, I’d graciously hold my first companion’s coffee mug as he pees from the ski lift, knowing the urine would freeze midstream. This would serve as a fire pole we could use to slide down.

But I don’t slide down. I let my companions think they figured this out first and watch as the first of them tries to slide down the brittle escape route. This is when I use his own coffee mug to shatter his pee pole. He falls to the snow, legs broken and helpless. The perfect distraction for the hungry wolves below. While the wolves fill their bellies with our fallen friend, the sheer terror of it all makes my other companion have to pee something fierce. I say it will be okay since now the wolves are too full too hunt – which is true.  My companion believes me and pees off the ski lift creating a second pee pole.

As my second companion slides down, I then pee on the pole, fortifying the pee pole and freezing my companion who never saw it coming…why? My pee is clear – I’ve been preparing for such an occasion for months. I slide down the now-sturdier, more durable pee pole and arrive safely on the ground. I then break my companion’s frozen body away from the pee pole and use her as a toboggan to ski back to base camp. Yes, I said “her.” My second companion was a woman. That’s why she had to pee from terror.  Do I feel regret about this?  No.  Nature doesn’t discriminate based on sex and neither do I.

Besides, as a male, I can procreate more abundantly than she.  Its nature’s way.  Oh, and my first companion?  The wolf bait?  That was her lover.  But before that, he was my best friend.  They thought I didn’t know about their secret affair.  But I did.  This is how I knew he would volunteer to try the pee pole first – out of a potent mixture of guilt, a male protective instinct and a not-so-secret caffeine addiction.  Which is why I packed plenty of coffee.  When I safely arrive at base camp, I pay the ski lift operator for the well-timed “system failure”. I also thank her for the coffee.  Yes, she. She was my best friend’s wife who told me about the affair. After today, I will take her as my lover.  She’s always been attracted to me and I ,her.  This is how I knew she’d go along with this.  As I said, I’d been planning this for months.
