I don’t think it’s a bold statement at all to say there’s absolutely nothing sexy about a Nazi. Yet, there’s something inherently sexy about Kate Winslet. Hence my conflicting emotions while watching the trailer for THE READER. In the film, Winslet plays a woman who falls in love with a younger man (and they seem to have frequent, passionate love from what we see in the trailer). Trouble arises when said woman later is outed to be a former guard for the Nazis. The young man is conflicted, sad, and eventually grows up to be Ralph Fiennes. You can check out Winslet doing her half-naked best in the trailer below or in HD at Apple’s site.
