Aside from producing UNDERWORLD: RISE OF THE LYCANS, which we last told you about here, Wiseman will be bringing us SHELL GAME.
The Hollywood Reporter dropped the word that Lakeshore Entertainment and and Sony Columbia Pictures will be reteaming with Wiseman for SHELL GAME. The flick is set in the future and centers on a detective who is faced with a moral dilemma while investigating the dangerous black-market business of immortality.
Sounds like this one has a lot of potential, and for some reason I see it being perfect for Wiseman. Tom Rosenberg, Gary Lucchesi and Skip Williamson will be producing with Benderspink’s Chris Bender and JC Spink executive producing. Rosenberg had the following to say:
“From our first meeting with Len on ‘Underworld,’ it was obvious that he had great talent and a unique artistic vision. We are very excited about collaborating with him again and bringing more of his extraordinary and original work to audiences worldwide.”
The original script was written by Justin Biondi and Andrew Ludington. Wiseman will be rewriting along with Chris Morgan. Wiseman will also be directing. Wiseman said the following in regards to SHELL GAME:
“It’s a passion project of mine that I’ve wanted to make for over five years and is a very ambitious feature both creatively and logistically…. it’s a huge film and has always been too expensive to make at the level I’ve wanted to make it at. Now I’m finally getting a chance to do it at that level.”
We’ll keep you updated on any more news for SHELL GAME.
