Guillermo Del Toro’s The Shape of Water first clip swims in

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Not to start any rumors or anything, but there has been a theory floating (waka, waka) out there that maybe, just maybe, Del Toro's upcoming creature-feature flick THE SHAPE OF WATER is secretly an Abe Spapien origin movie.

Probably not true. But you never know… Anyhow, today we have a clip from the flick to share with you guys that showcase Michael Shannon as (no doubt) the movie's REAL monster. Get it? Deep.

You can check out the clip below and then make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think of THE SHAPE OF WARER thus far in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

THE SHAPE OF WATER synopsis:

In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of silence and isolation. Elisa’s life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment.

THE SHAPE OF WATER is directed by Guillermo del Toro, written by Vanessa Taylor & del Toro, and stars Sally Hawkins, Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Michael Stulbarg, and Doug Jones.

Once again, THE SHAPE OF WATER hits theaters nationwide December 8th.
