I’m not sure what I’m trying to wrap my skull around more: the premise of Quentin Dupieux’s RUBBER, a flick about a homicidal tire that fells people with its “mind,” or the fact the picture actually got picked up at Cannes last month.
While I struggle with that, you might wanna take the time to witness a new clip from the film, which offers insight into why “Robert”, the killer tire, is so damn vindictive. I’ll just say this, I don’t think Robert here is a fan of the axiom “Burn Rubber.” Pretty funny stuff here gang, I strongly urge you to lock a peek!
Starring Thomas F. Duffy, Hayley Homes, Wings Hauser, Roxane Mesquida (below), Tara Jean O’Brien, Haley Ramm, David Bowe, Ethan Cohn, Pete Dicecco and Remy Thorne – RUBBER looks to rescreen in France this coming September. Hopefully we hear of a stateside release for the flick before then!
Need more RUBBER? Get down with the Official Site for the flick and be sure to relive the initial teaser trailer we saw about a month ago.
Oh, and be sure to let some blood telling us how absurd (or genius) you believe this project to be.
Let’s get fun with it!
