Lately we’ve seen some awesome horror shorts online, and it’s a great reminder for all of us how many truly talented filmmakers are out there (and make us scratch our head why there’s so many bad movies being made).
Case in point are the shorts by writer/director Eli Dorsey of
Golden Wombat Productions. He has
3 of his short films online now and they are definitely worth a look! Ranging from the slasher with a twist in THE FIELD, a spin on SOILENT GREEN with SACK LUNCH, and the horrors of Christmas in THE BEST X-MAS MOVIE EVER, Dorsey’s flicks are not only well done, but creepy as hell- the dude has some serious style.
My favorite of the bunch had to be THE FIELD, as the music and the editing really tied it all together- and the X-MAS MOVIE was the one that gave me the biggest chills of the bunch. What can I say, this guy’s got talent!
