Wonder Woman cast?

Has she really? I hope not, because as of now, apparently it looks like Katie Holmes is the actress set to play that role. If Tom Cruise didn’t use his Scientology powers to get her this franchise, I really don’t know how this happened. And I’d imagine if he was going to use his powers for anything it would be to get himself a pinstriped space shuttle or something.

StarPulse is reporting that:

The movie’s only at the discussion state, but Katie feels this role as a kick-ass superhero will put her back in the public eye… She wants to show her stuff, and she wants to prove that she can stand on her own two feet without Tom’s help. Tom, at times, feels compelled to oversee Katie’s career, but Katie is bent on doing this alone. She actually scheduled the meeting when she knew Tom wasn’t going to be able to be there.

So there you have it. Thankfully, things are only at a discussion stage (because as much as I love Katie Holmes, I just can’t see her in this role), but to be honest, Cruise is so powerful right now, I’m pretty sure if she really wanted it, Cruise could make a movie called WOMAN OF WONDER starring his wife anyway. Oh well.
