Woochi the Demon Slayer slices its way to DVD/Blu-Ray

The fine folks over at SHOUT! Factory just hit us with the news that Dong-Hoon Choi’s fantasy-action blockbuster WOOCHI THE DEMON SLAYER will be hitting Blu-Ray and DVD on April 9. The Korean box-office hit has been praised for its eye-dazzling special effects, top-notch action sequences (choreographed by G.I. JOE: RETALIATION and THE GOOD, THE BAD & THE WEIRD‘s Doo-hong Jung) and eastern humor.

Jeon Woo-chi, an undisciplined, womanizing wizard unjustly accused of the death of his master, is trapped inside an ancient scroll until he is set free in 2009 by the wizards that imprisoned him to help fight against evil goblins that have taken over present-day Korea.  The only problem is that Woo-chi is more interested in his new modern home – and the women of Korea –  than becoming a hero. Will he be the savior of mankind?

Ok, so the guy digs the chicks. Nothing wrong with that. Throw in a little magic, some monsters and a dash of comedy and it sounds like WOOCHI THE DEMON SLAYER should be right up our alley.

The film stars Gang Dong-Won, Kim Yoon-Suk, Lim Soo-Jung and Yoo Hae-Jin. Technical Specs are as follows:
