Filming wrapped a few months ago and now the dude has time to reflect and write a piece about what it was like, the up sides, the down sides, and all that jazz.
Here’s a taste of some of Farmer’s accounts of what went on to make the film he and director Patrick Lussier wanted to make, and how the two are preparing to work on more films together in the future… Patrick and I were also preparing pitches on other gigs by night. There was apparently some Drive Angry buzz back home so we were receiving some scripts. Most were dismal. I hate kicking my brother writers in the balls so I’ll blame the development process but we were sent some of the worst scripts ever written.
And that’s just a taste. Not your average ‘making-of’ account that’s sugarcoated with “Everyone I worked with was awesome, everyone is great, there weren’t any problems, blah blah blah” because we all know that’s a bunch of bullshit, so it’s always nice to see someone really tell it like it is. Nice!
