Zooey Deschanel has signed on to play the lead opposite Jim Carrey in his upcoming film YES MAN. The film is based on British author Danny Wallace’s memoir, about a man (Carrey) who decides to change his life by saying yes to everything that comes his way, leading him on a series of unexpected comedic adventures that turn his life upside down. Deschanel will play a girl that Carrey wins over with his downright hilarious physical comedy. Bradley Cooper (WEDDING CRASHERS) will be playing Carrey’s best friend. Good news? Meh, I guess. Any time Deschanel is on screen is good news, I suppose. Her eyes are freaking incredible. She just finished up work on Shyamalan’s THE HAPPENING with Marky Mark and she’ll appear next in the TV mini-series, ‘Tin Man’. Peyton Reed (BRING IT ON) is to direct YES MAN.
