Yesterday’s Aliens

When was the last time we actually saw a decent alien movie? I’m talking a flick that caught our interest and made us actually sit back and think about what an alien invasion would be like? Hell I can’t even think of a flick that came even close. Well hopefully that changes with THE DAYS BEFORE.

Maybe I’m aiming a bit high… but DAYS BEFORE has really caught my eye and made me think about it for a minute. Variety reports today that Warner Brothers have just picked up the script from Chad St. John. DAYS BEFORE will be set up at Gianni Nunnari’s Hollywood Gang. Gang’s Craig Flores will be producing.

Now the synopsis is what really caught my interest. Here’s how Variety breaks it down: Story centers on aliens invading Earth by traveling backwards through time and wiping out humanity — yesterday by yesterday — while one man stays a yesterday ahead of them, trying to convince the world that the end is coming again.

That sounds like it might be one confusing mess… or a brilliant alien flick. Obviously I’m hoping for the latter. We’re going to be keeping an eye open for any more announcements on THE DAYS BEFORE, so keep it here for updates.
