Those bloodsuckers at Taurus Entertainment are at it again. The company, which crapped out the DAY OF THE DEAD remake, DAY OF THE DEAD 2: CONTAGIUM (which came out before the remake) and CREEPSHOW III is apparently remaking DAY OF THE DEAD again. Although this time in 3D. Of course.
Taurus Entertainment heads Ana Clavell and James Dudelson own the rights to DAY OF THE DEAD, so obviously they’re not content to just let it sit there, already humiliated. According to Variety, Dudelson had this little pearl of wisdom: “You can’t just slap a 3D conversion on the wrong type of film.”
So so true, although he forgot to add “I should know, I’m an expert at making the wrong type of film.”
It should also be noted that these boneheads are still planning on remaking CREEPSHOW, as well as treating us to KNIGHTRIDERS 2. God help us all…
