We’re a mere 17 days from Freddy shredding our nightmares, so it doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure out why New Line/Warner Bros. have just unspooled a fresh new clip from Samuel Bayer’s A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET redux. Lemme just say this…for a fresh-faced teen going head to head with barbequed pedophile, there sure is a shite-ton of sparks flying. Cop a gander down low!
Labeled “All I Have to do is Dream,” watch Rooney Mara (who plays the role made famous by Heather Langenkamp) navigate her own worst nightmares as she tries to elude the piss-inducing Krueger. It’s also interesting to see the altered reality of a supermarket superimposed with the hellish dream world of the boiler room we’ve all become familiar with.
