Yippe-Kay-Yay! Fathom Events is bringing Die Hard back to the big screen!

Grab your teddy bear, take off your shoes, and get ready to party, pal! On Sunday, November 11th, and Tuesday, November 14th, Fathom Events is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the classic action thriller DIE HARD. Directed by John McTiernan (PREDATOR, LAST ACTION HERO), the beloved Christmas-themed blockbuster starring Bruce Willis (GLASS, LOOPER), Alan Rickman (GALAXY QUEST, The HARRY POTTER franchise), and Bonnie Bedelia (PRESUMED INNOCENT, HEART LIKE A WHEEL) will play at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. both days (local time) on more than 700 screens nationwide.

As you all should know, DIE HARD gave birth to one of the most iconic characters in action-related cinema, NYPD officer John McClane. In the legendary film, McClane tries to save his wife Holly Gennaro (Bedelia) and several others that were taken hostage by German terrorist Hans Gruber (Rickman) during a Christmas party at the Nakatomi Plaza in Los Angeles.

For the past 30 years, fans of the hilarious thrillride have debated as to whether or not DIE HARD is indeed a Christmas movie. With that in mind, allow me to settle this age-old debate once and for all. Are you ready? It totally is. Feel free to leave your rebuttals in the comments section below, but don't forget that Santa is watching, and that Jolly Old St. Nick prefers respectful discourse. Ho ho ho! I'm just kidding. Go nuts.

Don't miss your chance to witness the birth of John McClane's swagger on the big screen when DIE HARD crashes into theaters nationwide as a part of TMC's Big Screen Classics celebration. You can pre-order your tickets to the party here. Just remember to leave your snow at home, as I'm certain that Hart Bochner's smary Harry Ellis character will bring enough for everyone.

Yippe-Kay-Yay, mother fuckers!
