Young Han Solo film looking to cast a young Lando Calrissian

When Alden Ehrenreich steps into the shoes of the galaxy's most lovable smuggler for the upcoming STAR WARS spin-off centering around a young Han Solo, he'll be bringing an old friend with him. The Wrap reports that Phil Lord and Chris Miller are currently looking for an actor to fill the role of a young Lando Calrissian.

Played by Billy Dee Williams in both THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK and RETURN OF THE JEDI, Lando Calrissian was an old pal of Han Solo's who was forced to betray him to the Empire. Thankfully Lando was later able to assist in Han Solo's rescue and also helped the Rebel's to destroy the second Death Star. Although we never got much information about Lando and Han's previous relationship in the films, beyond Han Solo claiming that he won the Millenium Falcon off of Calrission "fair and square," there was the sense that the pair had gotten up to plenty of adventures in their youth. The UNTITLED HAN SOLO STAR WARS SPIN-OFF is set for a May 25, 2018 release.

Who do you think would be the best choice to play Lando Calrissian?
