You’re welcome, a sing-along version of Moana will be coming to theaters

If you're one of those people who would absolutely love to belt out a few of Lin-Manuel Miranda's catchy tunes from MOANA in a theater full of hundreds of strangers, Disney has your back. MOANA tells the story of a spirited teenager who sails out on a daring mission to prove herself a master wayfinder and fulfill her ancestors’ unfinished quest. Along the way, Moana (Auli‘i Cravalho) encounters the once-mighty demi-god known as Maui (Dwayne Johnson), and together, they traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous fiery creatures and impossible odds. As befitting a Disney flick, MOANA is also jam-packed with plenty of great musical numbers and the studio will soon be bringing a sing-along version to theaters.

The sing-along version of MOANA will debut exclusively at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre on January 20th before expanding to more than 2,000 theaters nationwide on January 27th. The sing-along version will include the full feature film with on-screen lyrics appearing during the musical sequences. If you'd rather sing your heart out in the privacy of your own home, MOANA will be released digitally on February 21, 2017 and will be followed by a Blu-ray/DVD release on March 7, 2017.

Any MOANA fans out there looking forward to putting all those hours spent humming along to "You're Welcome" to good use?
